Beat The Holiday Bulge: 8 Simple Strategies to Avoid Gaining Fat From Thanksgiving "till Christmas."
In the Fit-NOW kind of way, I want to give you tips on how to keep on track. We ALL want to get FIT-NOW RIGHT?... so take these ideas and USE THEM:)
1. Make sure that you are working out no less then 3 days per week for 30 min.
2. Offer to bring a dish for Thanksgiving or Christmas and make it a HEALTHY favorite. Take one of your favorite dishes and substitute healthy ingredients where you can. This way you can still enjoy and not feel guilty.
3. Drink a HUGE glass of water prior to your meals.
4. Eat a SMALL portion of everything you really want. This way you will enjoy it without overdoing it.
5. Eat really good 6 days of the week and allow yourself a free day so that you do not feel guilty and self sabotage yourself.
6. If people are bringing in goodies for you throughout the week, take a piece and save it for your free day.
7. After each bite, take a drink of water. This will keep you feeling satisfied
8. DO NOT BEAT YOURSELF UP. If you indulge in a meal, just take a deep breath, say to yourself you screwed up and eat better the next meal. You can do this:)
